Natural Alpujarreña Striped Brocade

The Alpujarreña Natural Striped Brocade Fabric stands out for its elegant combination of unbleached, beige, sand and brown tones, forming an attractive design of fine stripes and small geometric motifs. Inspired by the traditional Alpujarra fabrics, its pattern combines a distinctively handcrafted and ethnic print with a range of natural colours that are very easy to incorporate into both clothing and interior design.

With an extra width of 280 cm, this jacquard brocade fabric is particularly practical for making up large-format items, as it reduces the number of joins and seams. Its composition of 45% polyester, 27% cotton and 28% PA provides strength, stability and good body, resulting in a versatile and durable fabric.

Its combination of natural and neutral tones is particularly well-suited to the task of making up regional costumes, traditional attire, folk dresses, the Three Kings’ procession, carnival, theatre and performances. It is also an excellent choice for decorative projects such as cushions, drapery, stage sets, props and lightweight upholstery.
