The soft blue checked Seersucker poplin fabric is a lightweight, cool and versatile fabric, perfect for making garments and textile décor. Its design of small squares measuring approximately 2 mm offers a delicate and timeless style, ideal for casual looks and classically inspired garments.
The Seersucker finish provides a characteristic light crinkled texture that adds freshness, volume and a pleasant feel, as well as reducing the need for ironing.
Made from a blend of 70% cotton and 30% polyester, this fabric combines the softness and breathability of cotton with the durability and low-maintenance properties of polyester.
With a width of 145 cm and an approximate weight of 100 g/m², this is a lightweight and comfortable fabric, ideal for spring and summer garments.
Suggested uses: blouses, shirts, light dresses, children’s clothing, tablecloths, textile accessories and home décor.
Sewing tip: use a fine universal needle 70/10 or 80/12 and avoid excessive ironing to preserve the characteristic effect of the seersucker finish.
