The red satin-finish spandex charmeuse is a fabric with presence and elegance, ideal for creating eye-catching garments with a sensual touch. Its ultra-shiny satin finish and silky feel make it the perfect fabric for party wear or lingerie-inspired outfits. Comprising 97% polyester and 3% spandex, it offers lightweight stretch which enhances adaptability and comfort.
With a width of 150 cm and a weight of 105 g/m², this satin fabric is perfectly suited to making sophisticated blouses, satin tops, slip dresses, flowing skirts or garments with good drape. The deep red enhances the silhouette and adds visual impact to any design.
Sewing tip:
Use a microtex needle or a needle for stretch fabrics (no. 70), and a Teflon presser foot to prevent the fabric from slipping. Sew with an elastic stitch or a very fine zigzag stitch to maintain its flexibility without puckering.
