Double Gauze Floral

The Double Gauze Wildflowers is a 100% cotton fabric that is soft, lightweight and breathable, adorned with a delicate print of flowers, leaves and small stems inspired by the wild. Against a light background, shades of mustard, powder blue, mauve, dusty pink and green combine to create a natural and harmonious design, perfect for garments and accessories with a sweet and timeless style.

The double gauze, also known as double gauze, consists of two lightweight layers of gauze bonded together. Its characteristic slightly crinkled texture gives it a natural and carefree look, as well as a pleasant handle that is particularly suitable for baby clothes, children’s wear and comfortable garments.

With a weight of 130 gsm and a width of 130 cm, it is a lightweight and comfortable fabric that works very well for garments with simple lines and textile accessories. Its small-scale floral print makes it easy to make the most of the pattern even on small pieces.

Its soft colour palette pairs particularly well with plain double gauze in shades of unbleached, mustard, powder blue, mauve, green and dusty pink, making it ideal for creating coordinated garments and accessories.

Sewing tip: we recommend washing the fabric before cutting to stabilise the cotton fabric, and using a fine universal needle 70/10 or 80/12. Avoid stretching the fabric whilst sewing and preserve its characteristic slightly crinkled texture to maintain the natural look of the double gauze.
