Our Swiss Dot Cotton Batiste in 100% cotton in Black is a lightweight, fresh and sophisticated fabric, ideal for creations with an elegant and contemporary touch. It features small embroidered dots (plumeti) spaced 1.3 cm apart, in the same black tone, creating a subtle yet distinctive effect. With a weight of 107 g/m², it offers a light drape and a pleasant feel on the skin, perfect for blouses, shirts, dresses, skirts, evening wear, elegant children’s fashion and light decoration. For sewing, we recommend using fine needles (60/8 – 70/10) and delicate finishes such as French seams or narrow overlocking. It can be combined with lightweight linings such as plain batiste or cotton voile to provide opacity.
