Our Swiss Dot Cotton Batiste in 100% cotton in Petrol Blue is a lightweight, fresh fabric with a sophisticated touch, perfect for elegant and contemporary creations. It features small embroidered dots (plumeti) spaced 1.3 cm apart, in the same deep blue tone, achieving a subtle and refined effect. With a weight of 107 g/m², it offers a light drape and a soft feel on the skin, ideal for blouses, shirts, dresses, skirts, children’s fashion, layettes, baby garments, occasion wear and light decoration. For sewing, we recommend using fine needles (60/8 – 70/10) and delicate finishes such as French seams or narrow overlocking. It can be combined with lightweight linings such as plain batiste or cotton voile to add opacity. Its petrol blue tone adds depth and distinction, ideal for summer garments, special occasions and decorative projects with an elegant and modern look.
