Flat White Polyester

100% white polyester flat fabric. A 150cm-wide, wrinkle-free synthetic fabric available in a wide range of colours and highly versatile. A durable, good drapey, medium-weight fabric that is opaque and soft to the touch.

This fabric is pleasant to work with, has a smooth appearance, a barely noticeable fine weave and is easy to care for.

Known in our shops as Plana Stretch or Burlington. It is a basic fabric, very easy to sew and highly adaptable.

It is used in sewing for all types of garments, especially work uniforms, due to its comfort and durability.

It is lightweight and gives slightly across the width of the fabric, adapting to the shape and movement of more fitted garments, but it is not a stretch fabric. This is due to the type of twisted yarn used in the fabric’s manufacture. If you stretch a thread, you will be able to see this twist and, when you hold it in your hands and pull, the thread gives slightly, returning to its original shape without offering the same resistance as a single thread.

Due to its characteristics, it is also used to cover and decorate surfaces such as walls, tables and stands at trade fairs and events.
