Beige Velvet Dot

The beige velvet knitted fabric is a soft, elastic knit with an elegant velvety surface in plain beige and a plain finish on the reverse. Its neutral, warm tone, combined with the delicate sheen of the velvet, gives it an elegant and timeless look that pairs easily with a wide range of colours.

Its composition of 92% polyester and 8% elastane provides stretch, comfort and freedom of movement. With a weight of 280 gsm, it offers good body and a pleasant warmth, whilst maintaining a fluid and flattering drape.

With a width of 150 cm, this beige velvet knit fabric is ideal for making up dresses, skirts, jumpers, jackets, trousers, leggings and pyjamas. Its neutral colour allows you to create versatile and elegant garments for autumn and winter and pairs particularly well with shades of unbleached ecru, brown, green, terracotta, burgundy, black or navy blue.

It is OEKO-TEX certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Product Class I, which guarantees that the fabric is free from harmful substances.

Suggested uses: drapey dresses, skirts, trousers, leggings, jumpers, sweatshirts, lightweight jackets, pyjamas and garments for special occasions.Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or jersey needle 75/11–80/12 and a stretch stitch or narrow zigzag stitch. Avoid stretching the fabric whilst sewing and, before cutting, lay out all the pattern pieces so that the pile of the velvet runs in the same direction to ensure a uniform colour and sheen throughout the garment.
