Ivory Satin Triacetate

The ivory triacetate satin fabric is a high-quality fabric with an elegant drape and a refined, sophisticated finish. It features a satin face with a delicate sheen and a matt reverse in the same shade, offering the possibility of using both sides to create attractive textural contrasts within a single garment.

Its composition of 51% triacetate and 49% polyester provides an excellent combination of drape, body, strength and stability. With a weight of 300 gsm, it is a fabric with substance yet fluid movement, perfect for garments seeking an elegant silhouette and a neat, polished finish.

The ivory colour is a light, warm and timeless shade, softer than pure white. On the satin-finish surface, it takes on a particularly elegant lustre, creating delicate reflections depending on the angle of the light. It is ideal for wedding dresses, formal wear, communion dresses and party outfits, as well as sophisticated designs in neutral tones.

With a width of 145 cm, this ivory satin triacetate is ideal for making up dresses, blouses, skirts, smart trousers, tops, jumpsuits and formal wear. Its combination of body and drape allows for both fluid designs and sewing patterns featuring draping, pleats and more defined volumes.

Sewing tip: we recommend using a fine Microtex 70/10 or 80/12 needle and sharp cutting tools to prevent snagging. As this is a light-coloured fabric, work on a clean surface to avoid marks whilst cutting and making up. Iron preferably on the reverse side, at a low temperature and using a protective woollen cloth to preserve the satin-finish finish. Always carry out a test on a remnant first.
