HOW MANY METERS OF FABRIC DO I NEED?
DETAILS
The Red and Black Cachirulo fabric is a traditional fabric featuring a design of 25 mm (2.5 cm) checks in the classic combination of red and black, characteristic of the Zaragoza festival scarf and Aragonese tradition.
This cachirulo-style print is one of the most representative of popular culture, particularly associated with celebrations such as El Pilar, making it an essential choice for regional clothing and festive events.
Made from 65% polyester and 35% combed cotton, this fabric offers an excellent combination of durability, softness and ease of care, with a pleasant feel and good stability thanks to the quality of the combed cotton.
Its width of 160 cm, weight of 115 g/m² and shrinkage of less than 2% make it a versatile fabric, easy to work with and suitable for both clothing and themed decoration.
The 2.5 cm check size maintains the traditional proportions of the cachirulo, providing an authentic and easily recognisable look.
Suggested uses: cachirulo scarves, Aragonese regional costumes, skirts, blouses, shirts, festive decorations, traditional events and DIY projects.
Sewing tip: use a universal needle 80/12, pay special attention to matching the checks at seams and iron at a medium temperature for a clean, professional finish.
