Military Green Faux Suede Velour Scuba Knit

The Military Green Velour Scuba Knit Fabric combines the structure and stability of scuba knit fabric with an elegant velvety, faux suede-effect finish on one side, offering a soft texture and a sophisticated look reminiscent of suede. Its attractive military green colour lends a modern and versatile style, perfect for urban, casual and contemporary-inspired garments.

Made from 100% polyester, this fabric stands out for its excellent durability and ease of care. It features lightweight stretch, greater across the width than the length, providing comfort without losing structure, ideal for garments that need to retain a beautiful shape and a neat finish.

With a width of 145 cm and a weight of 280 gsm, it offers the necessary body to make up structured garments whilst maintaining a pleasant flexibility and a good drape.

The military green pairs particularly well with black, beige, camel, unbleached and other earthy tones. Together with its faux suede finish, this makes the fabric an excellent choice for autumn and winter collections and for creating garments with a distinct utility or sophisticated style.

Sewing tip: use a knit or stretch needle 75/11 or 80/12 and high-quality polyester thread. When cutting, we recommend laying out all pieces with the nap running in the same direction to avoid visual differences in shade. Always iron on reverse or using a protective cloth at a cool iron temperature to preserve the velvety finish.
