Triacetate Satin Bougainvillea

The bougainvillea triacetate satin fabric is a high quality fabric with an elegant drape and a sophisticated finish that enhances any garment. It features a satin-finish face with a delicate sheen and a matt reverse in the same shade, offering the possibility of using both sides to create original textural contrasts in the process of making up garments.

Its composition of 51% triacetate and 49% polyester provides an excellent combination of drape, body, durability and stability. With a weight of 300 gsm, it is a fabric with substance yet fluid movement, particularly suitable for designs seeking an elegant silhouette and a refined finish.

The bougainvillea colour, intense and full of character, takes on a special richness on the satin-finish surface, displaying attractive shades ranging from deep pink to fuchsia and purple depending on the angle of the light. A particularly flattering shade for party, formal and guest wear.

With a width of 145 cm, this bougainvillea-coloured triacetate satin is ideal for making up dresses, blouses, skirts, smart trousers, tops, jumpsuits and party wear. The combination of its full-bodied drape allows you to create both fluid designs and sewing patterns that require a slightly more defined silhouette.

Sewing tip: we recommend using a fine Microtex 70/10 or 80/12 needle and sharp cutting tools to prevent snagging. Iron preferably on the reverse side, at a low temperature and using a protective cloth to preserve the satin-finish finish. Always carry out a test of sewing and ironing on a remnant of fabric first.
