Our Swiss Dot Cotton Batiste in 100% cotton in Red is a lightweight, fresh fabric with character, perfect for elegant garments full of personality. It features small embroidered dots (plumeti) spaced 1.3 cm apart, in the same intense red tone, creating a subtle yet striking effect. With a weight of 107 g/m², it offers a light drape and a soft feel on the skin, ideal for blouses, dresses, skirts, children’s fashion, layettes, baby garments, occasion wear and light decoration. For sewing, we recommend using fine needles (60/8 – 70/10) and delicate finishes such as French seams or narrow overlocking. It can be paired with lightweight linings such as plain batiste or cotton voile to add opacity without losing freshness.
