The Wild Garden Blue Cotton Poplin Fabric is a delicate 100% cotton fabric featuring a pretty print of small flowers and leaves on a blue background. The design is created using digital printing, a technique that achieves excellent definition in the small flowers, leaves and details of the pattern, as well as an attractive richness of shades. Its 100% cotton composition provides a natural and pleasant feel, whilst its weight of 110 gsm gives it the lightness and versatility characteristic of poplin.

With a width of 145 cm, this floral-print poplin is ideal for making lightweight garments and creative sewing projects. The small size of the floral motif works particularly well on garments with ruffles, frills, yokes, collars and other tailoring details, as it allows the print to stand out even on smaller pieces.

Sewing tip: as this is a 100% cotton fabric, we recommend washing the fabric before cutting to allow for the cotton’s natural shrinkage. To sew poplin, you can use a fine universal needle in size 70/10 or 80/12 and good-quality sewing thread.
