The Brown Wild Garden Cotton Poplin fabric is a 100% cotton fabric with a delicate print of small flowers and leaves on a brown background. The combination of the warm background with the different shades of the design creates a harmonious floral print, inspired by a romantic, country-style aesthetic, perfect for making up garments with character.

The design is created using digital printing, a technique that allows the fine details of the flowers to be reproduced with great definition and achieves a beautiful richness of tones. Its 100% cotton composition provides a natural and pleasant feel, whilst its weight of 110 gsm gives it the lightness and versatility characteristic of poplin.

With a width of 145 cm, this floral-print poplin is ideal for adult clothing, children’s fashion and numerous creative sewing projects. The small size of the floral motif looks particularly lovely on garments featuring ruffles, frills, yokes, collars and other tailoring details, as it allows the print to be appreciated even on small sections.

Sewing tip: as this is a 100% cotton fabric, we recommend washing the fabric before cutting to allow for the cotton’s natural shrinkage. To sew poplin, you can use a fine universal needle in 70/10 or 80/12 and good-quality yarn.
