Satin Fabrics

Satin fabric, also known as satin, is a silky woven fabric. The satin weave and the crepe satin threads that make it up are over-twisted to produce a fabric with a shiny, smooth front and a matt, rough reverse. Satin fabrics usually have a lot of movement and a good drape. Satin fabric is widely used in clothing, decoration, upholstery and bed linen, always lending that touch of elegance and luxury. Among our satin fabrics, we offer very affordable satins, such as rasete and carnival satin. Rasete is a shiny fabric used to make carnival costumes and decorations. Rasete is a very economical fabric that does not fray. Carnival satin is similar to rasete but has a higher weight and is completely smooth, without the slight texture found in rasete.
