HOW MANY METERS OF FABRIC DO I NEED?
DETAILS
The Alhambra Blue outdoor canvas is a high-quality technical fabric specially designed for outdoor decoration and upholstery projects. Its attractive blue hue is combined with an elegant twill-inspired weave, creating a textured visual effect that adds depth, sophistication and a distinct Mediterranean style.
Made from 100% acrylic and weighing 225 g/m², this fabric offers an excellent combination of strength, comfort and durability for daily outdoor use. Its extra width of 320 cm allows for the creation of large-format pieces with fewer seams and cleaner, more professional finishes.
Thanks to its abrasion resistance of 18,000 Martindale cycles, it is ideal for cushions and upholstery subject to frequent use. Furthermore, it offers excellent resistance to sun exposure with a lightfastness rating of 6-7, helping to maintain the intensity of its colours for longer. It also offers high colour fastness to chlorinated swimming pool water and seawater, characteristics particularly valued in outdoor settings.
Its visual texture and blue hue bring freshness and personality to any outdoor space, combining perfectly with natural materials, plant fibres, light woods or nautical-inspired settings.
Usage ideas: garden cushions, outdoor sofas, sun loungers, mats, upholstered benches, pergola curtains, outdoor furniture, decorative cushions and outdoor decoration projects.
Sewing tip: use high-strength polyester thread for outdoor use and a universal needle size 90/14 or 100/16. To achieve a uniform finish, it is recommended to maintain the same grain direction across all sewn pieces.
Care: machine washable up to 30°C, suitable for dry cleaning, can be tumble dried and ironed at a maximum temperature of 150°C.
