Double-faced black stretch fabric

The black double-faced fabric is a plain-woven fabric with weight, drape and widthwise stretch, particularly suitable for using it to make up flowing, comfortable and stylish garments with a stylish finish.

Its composition of 64% polyester, 32% rayon and 4% elastane combines the durability and stability of polyester with the pleasant handle and drape of rayon, whilst elastane provides stretch and comfort to create garments that move with the body.

The black colour makes this fabric a basic staple for garment making. Its elegant and timeless shade, combined with the fabric’s body and drape, allows you to create sophisticated garments for both everyday wear and more formal looks.

With a width of 150 cm, it is a highly versatile option for loose-fitting sewing patterns, structured garments with a drapey look, and slightly shaped designs that make the most of their crosswise stretch.

Ideas for use: fluid trousers, dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, lightweight blazers, two-piece outfits and drapey garments.

Sewing tip: place the sewing patterns along the straight grain, bearing in mind that the stretch runs across the width. Before making up the garment, we recommend testing the stitch, tension and ironing on a small remnant of fabric.
