Black Foil Snake Elastane

The black Snake foil elastane fabric is a stretch fabric that stands out for its spectacular snakeskin-effect print and its eye-catching iridescent foil finish. Its surface features an original pattern of black scales of varying sizes against a background of intense metallic reflections in shades of turquoise, blue, green, violet and pink. This combination creates a striking multicoloured effect that changes depending on the angle of the light and movement.

Its composition includes 80% nylon and 20% elastane (elastane), which provides excellent stretch and body conformance, offering comfort and freedom of movement. Its width of 150 cm and weight (gsm) of 200 make it an excellent choice for making up form-fitting garments and performance costumes.

Sewing tip: use a 75/11 stretch needle and a stretch stitch or overlock stitch to maintain the fabric’s stretch. Cut the pieces following the direction of the scale pattern to achieve a uniform finish. Sew on the reverse side where possible and avoid ironing directly on the foil to protect its iridescent sheen.
