The Alpujarra Gold Lurex Stripe Brocade Fabric stands out for its elegant combination of unbleached, beige, sand and soft gold tones, accompanied by subtle dark contrasts that enhance the pattern. With an extra wide width of 280 cm, this jacquard brocade fabric allows for the making up of large-format pieces whilst reducing the number of joins and seams. Its composition of 45% polyester, 27% cotton fabric and 28% PA provides strength, stability and good body, qualities that are highly desirable for both garment making and interior design projects.

Sewing tip: use a universal needle 90/14 or 100/16 and good-quality polyester thread. Due to its brocade weave, we recommend overcasting or neatening the edges after cutting to prevent fraying. Always iron on reverse at a medium temperature using a protective cloth to preserve the metallic Lurex threads.
