HOW MANY METERS OF FABRIC DO I NEED?
DETAILS
The beige floral devoré fabric is an elegant, lightweight fabric that combines a fine, semi-sheer chiffon base with large floral devoré motifs in a harmonious range of brown tones. The contrast between the transparency of the background and the velvety texture of the pattern creates a sophisticated interplay of relief and transparency, lending depth, movement and a very special finish to the fabric.
Devoré is a textile technique whereby certain fibres are selectively removed from the fabric to create transparent areas combined with motifs of greater density and texture. The result is this distinctive ornamental effect, which is particularly attractive in fluid garments where the pattern and transparency take centre stage.
Its composition consists of 80% viscose and 20% nylon, and it stands out for its lightness, pleasant handle and beautiful drape. The brown tones lend warmth and elegance to the floral design, creating a versatile and sophisticated combination for garments and fashion accessories.
With a width of 135 cm, it is ideal for airy garments and designs where you wish to play with movement, texture and transparent effects.
Suggested uses: blouses, kimonos, dresses, skirts with lining fabric, transparent sleeves, overshirts, shawls, scarves, stoles and fashion accessories.
Sewing tip: due to the delicacy of its chiffon base, we recommend using a Microtex 60/8 or 70/10 needle and a fine stitch. For dresses and skirts, you can add a lining fabric to highlight the floral pattern and create a lovely contrast with the transparent sections of the devoré.
