Burlington Polyester Fabric Ecru

100% raw polyester flat fabric. Synthetic fabric in a width of 150cm that does not wrinkle, in a wide assortment of colors and very versatile. Resistant fabric, with drape, medium thickness, opaque and soft to the touch.

This fabric is pleasant to work with, smooth in appearance, with a barely noticeable fine mesh and easy to maintain. 

Known in our stores as Flat Stretch or Burlington. It is a basic fabric, very easy to sew and great adaptability. 

It is used in sewing for all types of garments, especially for work uniforms, due to its comfort and resistance. 

It gives slightly to the width of the fabric, adapting to the shapes and movement of the tightest garments, but it is not an elastic fabric. This happens due to the type of twisted thread used in the manufacture of the fabric. If you stretch a thread you will be able to observe this twist and that when you take it in your hands and stretch, the thread gives slightly, returning to its original shape without offering the same resistance as a simple thread. 

Due to its characteristics, it is also used to cover and decorate surfaces such as walls, tables and stands, at fairs and events.
