The ruby red satin charmeuse is a fabric with great visual impact, perfect for sophisticated and stylish garments. Its intense sheen, silky feel and fluid drape, together with its lightweight stretch (97% polyester and 3% spandex), make this fabric ideal for fitted, comfortable and glamorous designs.
With a width of 150 cm and a weight of 105 g/m², this fabric is perfect for making evening dresses, lingerie-style tops, satin blouses, flared skirts or stagewear. The ruby red colour adds intensity, femininity and sophistication, making it ideal for party outfits or special occasions.
Sewing tip:
Use a microtex needle (no. 70) and a Teflon presser foot to prevent marks. Sew with a stretch stitch or a fine zigzag stitch to preserve the fabric’s flexibility without compromising its shape or sheen.
