Cuya Natural Chenille Stripes

The Cuya Natural Chenille Stripes is a decorative and upholstery fabric with body, texture and an attractive rustic look. Its design combines a natural-toned background with fine horizontal stripes with a chenille-effect texture in shades of terracotta, green and beige, creating a warm, elegant look that is very easy to incorporate into different decorative styles.

With a weight of 353 gsm, it is a substantial fabric with a striking presence, particularly suitable for upholstery and home décor projects. Its composition of 35% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% linen and 15% acrylic combines different fibres to achieve a durable, full-bodied fabric with a beautiful, natural finish.

Its extra width of 280 cm allows you to work comfortably on large pieces, reducing the need for joins and sewing. This is a particularly useful feature for making up curtains, headboards, large cushions and other decorative projects.

Thanks to its texture, colour palette and the presence of linen fabric in its composition, this fabric is particularly well-suited to rustic, Mediterranean, natural and contemporary interiors. It pairs perfectly with wood, plant fibres and plain fabrics in shades of unbleached ecru, sand, terracotta, greens and other earthy colours.

Sewing tip: due to its thickness and weight (gsm), we recommend using a 90/14 or 100/16 needle and durable yarn. When cutting out several pieces, bear in mind the direction of the stripes and try to match them up to achieve a neater, more professional finish.
