Dark Blue Stretch Denim Knit

The Dark Blue Denim Knitted Fabric is a knitted fabric with a denim look that combines the classic appearance of denim with the comfort and flexibility of a knitted fabric. It features an elegant solid colour of dark blue, a pre-washed finish and a matt surface, creating a casual, contemporary look that is very easy to incorporate into all kinds of garments.

Its composition of 60% cotton, 36% polyester and 4% elastane offers an excellent combination of comfort, durability and stretch. The high cotton content ensures a pleasant handle, whilst the polyester provides durability and stability, and the elastane enhances adaptability to movement.

With a weight of 300 gsm, it is a denim knit fabric with good body and consistency, suitable for making up garments that require a certain amount of structure without compromising on comfort. Its pre-washed finish also gives it a more natural and relaxed denim look.

Its width of 150 cm allows for excellent use of the fabric in garment-making projects. The dark blue shade is a timeless and versatile basic, perfect for creating denim-style garments for both everyday looks and more contemporary fashion designs.

Sewing tip: ideally use a stretch or ballpoint needle suitable for the fabric’s thickness and a stitch that preserves its stretch. Due to its pre-washed finish, we recommend washing the fabric before cutting and testing the stitch, tension and ironing on a scrap piece.
