Dark Grey Washed Canvas

The Dark Grey Washed Canvas is a high-quality canvas made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which stands out for its rustic look, its vintage-style washed finish and its elegant dark grey colour. Its surface features a natural texture with a subtle distressed effect that adds character and a contemporary feel to any clothing or interior design project.

With a weight of 470 g/m² and a width of 148 cm, this is a heavyweight canvas fabric, offering plenty of body, firmness and stability. Its hard-wearing Panama weave ensures excellent durability, withstanding intensive use in garments, accessories and home textiles alike.

In addition to its extraordinary strength, this fabric becomes slightly softer with use and washing, maintaining its full texture whilst becoming more comfortable over time.

Sewing tip: use a needle for heavy fabrics 100/16 or 110/18, strong polyester thread and, if possible, a dual-feed presser foot to make sewing multiple layers easier. It is recommended that you pre-wash the fabric before cutting it to stabilise the fabric and preserve its characteristic vintage finish.
