Dark Grey Water Repellent Fabric

The Dark Grey Water Repellent Fabric is a technical polyester fabric with a water-repellent finish designed to resist light rain, splashes and moisture. Please note that this fabric is water repellent but not waterproof, making it unsuitable for prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

Made from 100% polyester, this lightweight 70 g/m² fabric offers a soft, silky touch, a fluid drape, good body and a completely opaque finish. It is comfortable to wear and easy to sew, making it an excellent choice for outdoor garments.

Its versatile solid dark grey colour complements a wide range of designs, while the 145 cm width allows efficient fabric usage for garment making.

Ideal for: lightweight windbreakers, parkas, jackets, gilets, outdoor clothing, sportswear, protective accessories and sewing projects requiring resistance to light moisture.

Sewing tip: Use a 70/10 or 80/12 Universal or Microtex needle with polyester thread. Iron on a low temperature and always test on a fabric scrap before pressing.
