Ponte Roma Stretch Denim

The Ponte Roma Denim Vigoré fabric is a knitted fabric that is full-bodied and has crosswise stretch, ideal for making up comfortable, flattering and well-structured fashion garments. Its denim-inspired finish combined with the vigoré effect gives it a modern and carefree look, perfect for casual-style garments.

Its composition of 75% polyester, 20% viscose fabric and 5% elastane offers a good combination of strength, softness and stretch. The elastane provides comfort and freedom of movement, whilst the viscose contributes to a more pleasant handle.

Thanks to the characteristics of Ponte Roma, this fabric offers more body and stability than other knitted fabrics, whilst maintaining the flexibility needed to create comfortable garments. Its vigore denim look allows for an aesthetic similar to denim clothing, but with the comfort characteristic of a stretch knit fabric.

With a width of 150 cm, it is a highly versatile option for making up fitted, semi-fitted or relaxed-fit garments.

Suggested uses: trousers, full-bodied leggings, skirts, dresses, jackets, structured sweatshirts, outfits and casual fashion items.

Sewing tip: we recommend using a ballpoint needle or stretch needle and a stretch stitch to maintain the flexibility of the seams. When laying out the sewing patterns, bear in mind that the main stretch runs across the width of the fabric.
