Black Stretch Tulle with Sequin Fabric and Bugle Beads

The black stretch tulle fabric with sequins and bugle beads is a spectacular partywear fabric, designed for garments that call for sparkle, movement and a sophisticated finish. On a base of black elastic stretch tulle, rows of sequins in shades of green and turquoise are arranged, interspersed with rows of metallic-effect bugle beads, creating an attractive linear design with varying reflections depending on how the light falls.

The combination of sequin fabric and bugle beads adds texture, raised texture and luminosity to the fabric, whilst its elastane-blend tulle base provides a degree of stretch and makes it easy to adapt to garments. It is a fabric particularly suited to party dresses, evening wear, bodices, skirts, tops and decorative details.

The fabric has a total width of 140 cm and features approximately 10 cm on each side without sequins or rhinestones, a detail worth bearing in mind when calculating the sewing pattern and the quantity required for each project.

Due to its transparency, it can be used over a lining fabric or base fabric to highlight the contrast and sparkle of the embellishment, although it also looks very attractive on sleeves, necklines and other areas where you wish to make the most of the tulle’s transparency.

Sewing tip: before cutting, we recommend positioning the sewing pattern taking into account the direction of the lines and the side margins without embellishment. In the seam areas, it may be advisable to carefully remove any sequins and bugle beads that coincide with the seam line to make sewing easier and achieve neater seams. Use a needle suitable for stretch fabrics and always carry out a test stitch on a remnant first.
