Faux suede

The white faux suede fabric is a 100% polyester fabric with an elegant, soft and velvety finish that mimics the look of suede. Its white colour adds brightness and versatility, making it an excellent choice for sewing projects, fancy dress costumes and decoration.

With a width of 150 cm and a weight of 170 gsm, this faux suede offers a good balance of body, durability and workability. Its polyester composition ensures durability and ease of care, whilst its soft-to-the-touch surface provides a warm and comfortable finish.

This polyester faux suede is a practical and economical alternative to natural suede, ideal for achieving a similar effect without compromising on the ease of sewing and maintenance offered by a synthetic fibre.

Suggested uses: fancy dress and carnival costumes, accessories, decoration, crafts, props, decorative appliqués and DIY projects.

Sewing tip: use a universal needle with a thickness of 80/12 or 90/14 and test on a remnant first. When cutting the pieces, try to keep them facing the same direction so that the faux suede fabric’s pile reflects the light evenly.
