With a composition of 100% polyester and a width of 150 cm, this satin is finer and more fluid than full-bodied satins, making it particularly suitable for creating garments with movement, drape and soft lines. Its black colour also makes it a timeless and highly versatile basic for all kinds of party and formal wear designs.

Its silky feel and drape allow you to create elegant garments that follow the body’s movement, making it an excellent choice for both simple sewing patterns and those featuring draping, bias cuts or fluid volumes.

Suggested uses: party and formal dresses, slip dresses, fluid skirts, skirts with bias binding, trousers, blouses, tops, jumpsuits, suits, lightweight jackets and garments for special occasions.Sewing tip: as this is a fine, fluid satin, we recommend using a Microtex needle or a fine needle and very fine pins to avoid marks. To make cutting easier, lay the fabric flat without stretching it and use sewing weights to prevent it from shifting. For garments cut on the bias, it is advisable to let the garment rest before applying a hem, as the fabric may give slightly due to its natural drape.
