Unbleached Rasete Foam-Backed Fabric

The Foam-backed Unbleached Rasete Fabric is a rasete-based fabric with a layer of 3 mm thick foam, specially designed for projects requiring body, volume and the ability to create shapes and structures. Its neutral and versatile unbleached colour makes it suitable for a wide variety of sewing, decoration and craft projects.

Made from 100% polyester and with a weight of 190 gsm, it is characterised by being a fabric with plenty of body – stiff yet pliable – which allows it to be shaped easily and creates voluminous pieces that retain their structure.Thanks to its foam-backed fabric, it is a particularly practical material for creating three-dimensional shapes and voluminous elements. Furthermore, it is easy to cut and handle, can be sewn by machine or by hand and is suitable for use with adhesives, broadening the possibilities for creative projects and DIY work.

It is a particularly suitable choice for costumes and stage costumes, where it can be used to make up accessories, voluminous pieces and lightweight structures, as well as for decoration projects, window dressing and all kinds of craft projects.

Working tip: use sharp scissors or a craft knife to achieve clean cuts. When sewing, we recommend first testing on a remnant and using a slightly longer stitch length than usual. If you are going to glue it, check beforehand that the adhesive is compatible with the foam to prevent it from being damaged.
