Gold Glitter Lamé Dot

The gold glitter lamé knit fabric is a fine, lightweight and highly eye-catching fabric, characterised by its shiny laminated finish with a metallic effect on one side. Its intense golden hue reflects the light and provides a spectacular finish, perfect for creations where sparkle is the real star of the show.

Although it is knitted, the shiny laminate layer significantly reduces its elasticity, meaning that it offers very little stretch and does not behave like a conventional stretch knit fabric. The shiny side has a slightly textured texture, whilst the reverse is plain and softer, so it can be used without a lining fabric in many projects.

Its gold colour with a glitter effect is particularly eye-catching under spotlights and lights, making it an excellent choice for carnival costumes, show costumes, parties, dance and event décor.

With a width of 148 cm, a weight of 160 gsm and a composition of 100% polyester, it is a lightweight and easy-to-work-with fabric with the presence needed to create garments, accessories and decorative items with great visual impact.

Sewing tip: as this is a laminated fabric, we recommend avoiding repeated unpicking, as the holes may leave marks. Use a fine needle and test on a remnant piece first. Avoid applying heat directly to the gold side and, if you need to iron, do so very carefully on the reverse side with a cool iron at a low temperature.
