Heavy Scuba Black Neoprene Knit Top

The black Heavy Scuba fabric, also known as neoprene knit, is a thick knitted fabric that has great body and a good drape reminiscent of neoprene, although it is not technical neoprene. Its opaque finish, very soft feel and lightweight stretch make it an excellent choice for creating garments with volume and a flawless finish.

Made from 92% polyester and 8% spandex, it offers a perfect combination of durability, comfort and flexibility. With a weight of 300 g/m² and a width of 160 cm, it is a stable fabric that holds the shape of garments very well without compromising on comfort.

The classic plain black colour adds elegance and versatility, making it ideal for both casual wear and sophisticated styles.

Suggested uses: dresses, jackets, skirts, trousers, sweatshirts, outfits, lightweight blazers, structured tops and voluminous fashion projects.

Sewing tip: use a ball-point needle 75/11 or 80/12, sew with a stretch stitch or overlock, and iron at a low temperature, preferably using a protective cloth to preserve the fabric’s finish.
