Heavy Scuba Green Neoprene Knit Top

The green Heavy Scuba fabric, also known as neoprene knit, is a thick knitted fabric that has great body and a good drape reminiscent of neoprene, although it is not technical neoprene. Its opaque finish, very soft feel and lightweight stretch make it an ideal choice for creating garments with volume, defined lines and an elegant finish.

Made from 92% polyester and 8% spandex, it offers an excellent combination of durability, comfort and flexibility. Thanks to its weight of 300 g/m² and width of 160 cm, it provides excellent stability and recovery, allowing garments to retain their shape and structure over time.

The plain green colour lends a fresh, natural and sophisticated style, making it perfect for creating fashionable garments for both everyday wear and mid-season collections, or designs with a contemporary feel.

Suggested uses: dresses, jackets, skirts, trousers, sweatshirts, outfits, lightweight blazers, structured tops and voluminous fashion garments.

Sewing tip: use a ball-point needle 75/11 or 80/12, sew with a stretch stitch or overlock, and iron at a low temperature, using a protective cloth to preserve the fabric’s finish and elasticity.
