Heavy Scuba Red Neoprene Knit Top

The red Heavy Scuba fabric, also known as neoprene knit, is a thick knitted fabric that has great body and a good drape that is reminiscent of neoprene, although it is not technical neoprene. Its opaque finish, very soft feel and lightweight stretch make it a perfect choice for creating garments with volume, defined lines and a modern, elegant finish.

Composed of 92% polyester and 8% spandex, it offers an excellent combination of durability, comfort and flexibility. With a weight of 300 g/m² and a width of 160 cm, it provides stability and superb recovery, allowing garments to retain their shape wash after wash.

The plain red colour conveys strength, personality and sophistication, making it ideal for creating eye-catching garments for both everyday wear and special occasions.

Suggested uses: dresses, jackets, skirts, trousers, sweatshirts, outfits, lightweight blazers, structured tops and voluminous fashion garments.

Sewing tip: use a ball-point needle 75/11 or 80/12, sew with a stretch stitch or overlock, and iron at a low temperature, using a protective cloth to preserve the fabric’s finish and elasticity.
