Heavy Scuba Knit Grey Neoprene Top

The grey melange Heavy Scuba knit fabric, also known as neoprene knit, is a thick knitted fabric that has great body and a structured drape that is reminiscent of neoprene, although it is not technical neoprene. Its opaque finish, very soft feel and lightweight stretch make it an ideal choice for creating garments with volume, defined lines and a modern finish.

Composed of 92% polyester and 8% spandex, it offers an excellent combination of durability, comfort and flexibility. With a weight of 300 g/m² and a width of 160 cm, it perfectly retains the shape of garments, providing great stability and comfort for everyday wear.

The plain heather grey colour, with its characteristic marbled effect, offers a contemporary and versatile style, perfect for creating sportswear, casual wear or urban-inspired garments without compromising on an elegant finish.

Suggested uses: dresses, jackets, skirts, trousers, sweatshirts, outfits, lightweight blazers, structured tops and voluminous fashion garments.

Sewing tip: use a ball-point needle 75/11 or 80/12, sew with a stretch stitch or overlock, and iron at a low temperature, using a protective cloth to preserve the fabric’s finish and elasticity.
