Lilac-coloured Organza Iris

The Iris Organza in lilac is a transparent, lightweight fabric with an attractive pearlescent effect that creates delicate shimmering reflections in shades of lilac. Its transparency, combined with the way light falls on it, gives the fabric different shades and levels of luminosity, creating an ethereal and very special finish.

Made up of 100% polyester and with a width of 150 cm, it is a fine, transparent organza with a full-bodied feel, perfect for projects where you want to play with light, volume and layering.

Its delicate lilac shade is particularly appealing for accessories, decoration and Carnival, as well as for fantasy details, ruffles, bows, capes and all kinds of creative projects. When layered over other fabrics, the background colour interacts with its transparency, allowing you to achieve original visual effects.

Sewing tip: use a 70/10 fine needle and polyester thread. As this is a fine, transparent fabric, we recommend doing a test stitch first and taking particular care with the sewing finishes. To enhance the iridescent effect, try out different background fabrics before making up your project.
