Magic Knit with Animal Print

The Magic Dot Animal Print Fabric is an original jersey fabric made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane that surprises with a fun effect: it changes colour when exposed to sunlight. Its child-friendly print features cute savannah animals, such as lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, hippos, crocodiles and rhinos, illustrated in a minimalist style against an ecru background. When the fabric is exposed to sunlight, the design comes to life, transforming its colours and turning every garment into a unique experience for little ones.

Thanks to its cotton-elastane blend, this knitted fabric offers exceptional softness, pleasant stretch and a fluid drape, providing excellent comfort and freedom of movement. With a weight of 200 g/m² and a width of 145 cm, it is ideal for making comfortable and durable children’s garments for everyday wear.

Its digital print guarantees excellent pattern definition and it is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1, ensuring that the fabric is suitable for contact with the delicate skin of babies and children.

Suggested uses: T-shirts, dresses, leggings, rompers, waistcoats, pyjamas, baby clothes, children’s outfits, hats, neck warmers and knitted accessories.

Sewing tip: use a ball-point needle 75/11 or 80/12, polyester thread and an elastic or overlock stitch to preserve the fabric’s elasticity. We recommend washing at 30 °C, avoiding bleach and tumble drying, and ironing at a low temperature to maintain the intensity of the colour-changing effect in the sun.
