Purple Teardrop Sequin Tulle

The mauve tulle fabric ‘Destellos’ is a spectacular, decorative fabric adorned with an abundance of teardrop-shaped sequins in shades of purple. The combination of the mauve tulle with the sequins’ shimmer creates a luminous, dynamic surface full of movement, perfect for garments and decorations seeking a truly eye-catching result.

The teardrop sequins embroidered onto the tulle catch and reflect the light with every movement, creating attractive sparkles and different shades of violet and purple. A fabric with a strong visual presence, particularly suitable for costumes, shows and fantasy projects.

Its composition is 100% polyester. The area decorated with sequins has an approximate width of 130 cm, whilst the full tulle base has an approximate width of 160 cm. We recommend taking the usable width of the embroidered area into account when calculating the required length.

Sewing tip: before cutting, lay out the pieces taking into account the approximate 130 cm area covered in sequin fabric. If any sequins coincide with the sewing line, it is advisable to remove them carefully to allow the needle to pass through easily and prevent tearing. Do not iron directly onto the sequins; if necessary, use a very low heat setting, iron from the reverse side and use a protective woollen cloth.
