New Arena neoprene fabric crepe top

The New Sand Neoprene Crepe Knit fabric is a stretch knit fabric that stands out for its beautiful drape, body and ability to add volume to garments made up from it. Its delicate plain sand colour, with a neutral and natural tone, lends elegance, brightness and versatility, making it an excellent choice for creating sophisticated and timeless garments.

This fabric, also known as scuba crepe, has two distinct sides: one with a crepe texture and the other with a slightly satin-finish finish, offering different design possibilities depending on the desired effect.

Its composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane provides stretch and comfort, whilst its weight of 285 gsm gives the necessary body to create garments with shape, movement and an elegant drape. Thanks to its width of 165 cm, it allows for efficient use of the fabric in fashion design projects.

Suggested uses: formal dresses, fitted dresses, midi skirts, flared skirts, jackets, smart trousers and two-piece outfits. Its sand colour is ideal for creating minimalist looks, elegant guest outfits and wardrobe staples that are easy to pair with other colours.

Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or ballpoint needle in thickness 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch to preserve the fabric’s elasticity. For a neat finish, we recommend using a cool iron with a protective cloth, having first carried out a test on a remnant of fabric.
