The New Beige Neoprene Scuba Knit fabric is a stretch knit fabric that combines a beautiful drape, body and the ability to add volume to finished garments. This fabric, also known as scuba crepe, features two distinct sides: one with a crepe texture and the other with a slightly satin-finish finish, offering different ways to make up garments depending on the desired effect.

Thanks to its composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane and its weight of 285 gsm, it offers stretch and comfort alongside the necessary structure to maintain the garments’ shape. Its elegant drape allows for the making up of both fitted designs and garments with volume and movement. Furthermore, its width of 165 cm makes it easy to make the most of the fabric in garment-making projects.

Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or ballpoint needle in thickness 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch to preserve the fabric’s elasticity. We recommend using a cool iron with a protective cloth, testing on a remnant first to preserve the finish on both sides.
