The New Brown Neoprene Scuba Knit Fabric is a stretch fabric that stands out for its beautiful drape, body and ability to add volume to garments made up from it. This fabric, also known as scuba crepe, features two distinct sides: one with a crêpe texture and the other with a lightweight satin-finish finish, offering different ways to make up outfits depending on the desired effect.

Thanks to its composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane and its weight of 285 gsm, it combines stretch and comfort with the necessary structure to make up garments that retain a beautiful shape without compromising on movement. Its flattering drape allows you to create both fitted designs and garments with a certain amount of volume, whilst its width of 165 cm makes it easy to make the most of the fabric.

Suggested uses: midi dresses, fitted dresses, pencil skirts, flared skirts, structured jackets, smart trousers and two-piece outfits. Its brown shade is perfect for autumn and winter garments, urban looks and elegant ensembles, pairing particularly well with beige, cream, camel, light blue and earthy tones.

Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or ballpoint needle in thickness 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch to complement the fabric’s stretch. It is recommended to iron on reverse, at a low temperature and with a protective cloth, testing on a remnant first to avoid marks and preserve the finish on both sides.
