The New Bordeaux Neoprene Crepe Knit is a stretch knit fabric that combines a beautiful drape with full-bodied and voluminous qualities, ideal for making up fashionable garments with structure and movement. Its elegant plain burgundy colour adds a sophisticated and timeless touch, perfect for both everyday looks and special occasions.

This fabric, also known as scuba crepe, features two distinct sides: one with a crêpe texture and the other with a slightly satin-finish finish, offering different design possibilities depending on the desired effect.

With a composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane and a weight of 285 gsm, it is a full-bodied fabric with stretch and a drapey quality, allowing you to create fitted garments or designs with a certain amount of volume. Its width of 165 cm makes it easy to make the most of the fabric in sewing projects.

Suggested uses: fitted dresses, party dresses, flared skirts, pencil skirts, jackets, trousers and fashion ensembles.

Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or ballpoint needle in thickness 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch to preserve the fabric’s stretch. Use a cool iron; test on a remnant first.
