The New Natural White Neoprene Scuba Knit fabric is a stretch fabric that stands out for its beautiful drape, body and ability to add volume to finished garments. This fabric, also known as scuba crepe, features two distinct sides: one with a textured crepe texture and the other with a slightly satin-finish finish, offering a range of possibilities for making up garments and allowing you to play with different visual effects within a single garment.

Thanks to its composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane and its weight (gsm) of 285, it combines stretch and comfort with the necessary body to create garments with structure, movement and an elegant drape. Its width of 165 cm makes it easy to make the most of the fabric in both fitted designs and garments with a certain amount of volume.

Suggested uses: formal dresses, simple wedding dresses, fitted dresses, midi skirts, flared skirts, jackets, dress trousers and two-piece outfits. Its natural white shade is particularly attractive for celebratory looks, minimalist ensembles and elegant spring and summer garments.

Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or ballpoint needle in thickness 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch to preserve the fabric’s stretch. For light-coloured garments, it is advisable to check for transparency before cutting and to consider using a suitable lining fabric. Iron at a low temperature using a protective cloth, having first carried out a test on a remnant of fabric.
