The New Red Neoprene Scuba Knit fabric is a stretch fabric that stands out for its excellent drape, body and ability to add volume to garments made up from it. This fabric, also known as scuba crepe, features two distinct sides: one with a crepe texture and the other with a slightly satin-finish finish, allowing you to choose different visual effects depending on the garment’s design.

With a composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane and a weight of 285 gsm, it offers a combination of stretch, comfort and structure. Its flattering drape allows for the making up of both fitted garments and voluminous designs that retain a beautiful shape. Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or ballpoint needle in thickness 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch to preserve the fabric’s stretch. We recommend using a cool iron with a protective woollen cloth, having first carried out a test on a remnant of fabric.
