The New Bougainvillea Neoprene Crepe Knit is a stretch knit fabric that stands out for its beautiful drape, body and ability to add volume to garments. Its intense plain bougainvillea colour, an attractive shade between fuchsia pink and violet, brings strength, elegance and personality to any design. It is the perfect fabric for creating sophisticated, colourful garments, especially for special occasions.

This fabric, also known as scuba crepe, has two distinct sides: one with a crêpe texture and the other with a slightly satin-finish finish, offering different possibilities for making up garments depending on the desired effect.

Thanks to its composition of 95% polyester and 5% elastane and its weight of 285 gsm, it combines stretch and comfort with the necessary structure to create garments that retain a beautiful shape without compromising on freedom of movement. Its flattering drape allows for the making up of both fitted designs and voluminous garments, whilst its width of 165 cm makes it easy to make the most of the fabric.

Sewing tip: use a stretch needle or ballpoint needle in thickness 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch to preserve the fabric’s stretch. We recommend using a cool iron with a protective cloth, testing on a remnant first to preserve the finish on both sides.
