BOHIN Big Eye Needles N.10

Bag of 20 Bohin semi-long sewing needles of easy threading thanks to the large eyes that facilitate the passage of the thread in the needle, with slightly rounded eye, for patchwork or tight knitting.

Half round needles are ideal for quilting, a technique associated with patchwork. The needle should not be long, because the technique is not the same as with a standard sewing stitch: the needle is pushed horizontally into the fabric with very little space between stitches.

They are generally used on 100% cotton patchwork, but can be used on all fabrics by adapting the number of needles, and are also used with quilting thread (more resistant than traditional thread).

Manufactured in France, in nickel-plated steel, they undergo 27 manufacturing steps, which guarantees an incomparable glide and a flawless point.

The numbering corresponds to the size of each needle, with #1 being the longest and thickest and #12 the shortest and thinnest in the series.
