Alpujarreña Pink Stripe Brocade

The Alpujarreña Pink Striped Brocade Fabric is a decorative jacquard fabric that stands out for its delicate combination of shades of pink and its intricate design featuring fine stripes, different wefts and small geometric motifs. Inspired by the traditional fabrics of the Alpujarra region, it features an artisanal and ethnic print aesthetic with a soft and elegant touch, ideal for creating garments and accessories with character.

With an extra width of 280 cm, this Alpujarra-style striped brocade allows you to make up large-format pieces whilst reducing the number of joins and sewing. Its composition of 45% polyester, 27% cotton and 28% polyamide provides durability, stability and good body, characteristics that are highly suitable for both traditional clothing and decorative projects.

Its pinkish hue lends a delicate and distinguished air to the characteristic Alpujarra stripe pattern. The combination of different weaves and textures in the fabric creates an attractive visual effect reminiscent of handcrafted looms. With no metallic Lurex threads, this brocade stands out for the richness of its structure and its subtle colour nuances. Sewing tip: use a universal needle 90/14 or 100/16 and good-quality polyester thread. As this is a brocade fabric with different weaves, we recommend overcasting or needingling the edges after cutting to prevent fraying. When cutting garments or decorative pieces, always maintain the same direction of the stripes to achieve a uniform visual finish.
