Maroon Rayon Ponte Roma Top

The maroon rayon and elastane Ponte Roma stitch fabric is a compact, elastic knitted fabric that combines body, softness and comfort. Its Ponte Roma structure offers greater consistency than a conventional fine knit, whilst maintaining the flexibility needed to make up comfortable garments that fit the body well.

With a composition of 65% rayon, 30% nylon and 5% elastane and a weight of 250 gsm, it is of medium weight with good drape and stability. Its elastic component provides flexibility and aids the fabric’s recovery, a particularly practical feature for fitted garments or designs that need to move with the body.

Its width of 160 cm allows for excellent use of the fabric in garment production. The maroon colour adds depth and elegance, making it a highly versatile shade for creating garments for both everyday wear and more formal designs.

Suggested uses: knitted trousers, dresses, skirts, knitted blazer-style jackets, full-bodied leggings, fitted garments, outfits, structured tops and other comfortable ready-to-wear items.

Sewing tip: use a Stretch or Jersey needle 75/11 or 80/12 and a stretch stitch or narrow zigzag stitch to preserve the stretch of the seams. For hems and visible topstitching, a twin needle for knitted fabrics can provide a neat and professional finish.Care instructions: machine wash at a maximum of 30 ºC on a delicate cycle. Do not bleach or tumble dry. We recommend washing inside out, avoiding vigorous spinning and air drying. Iron on reverse at a cool temperature. For dry cleaning, consult a professional and carry out a test on a fabric sample beforehand. We recommend washing before cutting and making up.
